History

The International Academy of Science (IAS) was founded in 1993 as a civil law company. It has 250 members. In the spirit of science, our academicians and professors constitute Hungarian scientists working in different parts of the world.

Our aim is to reformulate and reshape the present system of science. To achieve our goals, we co-operate with other international and national scientific academies, organisations and institutions. Helping future generations of scientists in their advancement is just as important for us as encouraging the output of currently active generations and involving retired members in our work.

The website has not been designed to cover all the activities of the academy, it rather symbolises a sense of belonging together.
